John Storey, Partner, Chairman
John M. Storey was raised in a church parsonage in Evansville, graduated from Shawswick High School in Lawrence County, Indiana and is a graduate from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science. He became a licensed funeral director in Indiana and moved with his wife, Joy, to Gas City joining the Jay and Swift Funeral Home in 1960. In 1963, he acquired part ownership in the firm and the name was changed to Jay-Swift & Storey Funeral Home in 1963 and in 1979 he became the sole owner. In 1987, John and Ben Needham merged Jay-Swift & Storey Funeral Home and Needham & Son Funeral Home to form Needham-Storey Funeral Service.
John cares about people and their needs and has dedicated his life to service of others. He is an active member of the Lakeview Wesleyan Church, has served on the board of the Wesleyan Investment Foundation for 35 years, and the Board of Trustees of Indiana Wesleyan University for nearly 35 years. Additionally, he was served on the boards of World Gospel Mission, Marion General Hospital, the Kiwanis Club of Gas City, and has served on numerous boards and committees of church, civic, professional and educational organizations.
John and his wife Joy are the parents of J. Mark Storey II and daughter-in-law Molly Storey, and daughter Beth Driscoll and son-in-law Dr. Dan Driscoll. They are blessed with 6 grandchildren. |

Steven A. Wampner, Partner, President
Steve is a lifelong Grant County resident and began his funeral service career in 1969 with Needham & Son funeral home. Following his graduation from Eastbrook high school, he attended Indiana College of Mortuary science, graduating in 1973. He became a partner in Needham-Storey Funeral Service in 1987 and the firm name was changed to Needham-Storey-Wampner in December of 2000 in recognition of Steve's service and role within the organization.
Steve has served on numerous boards and committees in the past including the Indiana Funeral Directors Association and the Grant County Chamber of Commerce. Steve is a past president of the Community Foundation of Grant County, a member of the Marion General Hospital Ethics Committee, a member and past president of the Sweetser Lions Club and a member of Brookhaven Wesleyan Church. Steve's wife Sue Ellen is the administrative assistant to the Dean of the Chapel at Indiana Wesleyan and their daughter Hayley is a graduate student in psychology at Indiana Wesleyan University. |

J. Mark Storey II, Partner, Secretary
Mark was born and raised in Gas City, Indiana and is a second generation funeral director. A graduate of Mississinewa High School, Indiana Wesleyan University, and the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science, he joined the firm in 1987. Mark currently serves as the manager of the Storey Chapel location.
Having grown up in Gas City has given Mark the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with the community he serves. Mark is a member of the Gas City Rescue Squad and has been a certified EMT since 1982. He has also served 2 terms as the Alumni President for Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, IN. He is a member of the Mississinewa Valley Community Band andserves as Chairman of the Gas City Area Chamber of Commerce Corporate Arts Series where he plans and organizes the weekly summer series "Concerts in the Park." Mark, Molly and the girls attend College Wesleyan Church in Marion.
Mark and his wife, Molly are parents to Ava, Heidi, and Suzanne, all born in 2004. Mark collects antique fire engines and antique fire memorabilia and enjoys foreign travel. |

Paul A. Shane, Retired Partner and Officer
Paul retired from Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service on April 4, 2004 after having been a part of the firm for 37 years. A graduate of Mississinewa High School in 1958 and the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1966, he has lived most of his life in Gas City and Jonesboro and has been gratified to have served the communities and people that he so dearly loves for so many years. Paul and his wife Diana are looking forward to traveling, and spending time with their grandkids. While Paul has been active in the Kiwanis Club of Gas City, the Gas City Area Chamber of Commerce and church activities, he is especially pleased to have more time to dedicate to his favorite hobby, golf. The "family" at Needham-Storey-Wampner love Paul and look forward to a continued relationship as his new schedule allows. |

James R. Benner, Funeral Director
Jim was raised in LaFontaine, Indiana and is a graduate of Southwood High School in 1987. He attended Ball State University and graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 1995. In 1996 Jim received his Indiana Funeral Directors License and joined the staff of Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service.
Jim has been a member of the LaFontaine/Liberty Fire Department since 1987 having served as an officer at different times. He is a member of the LaFontaine United Methodist Church where he served in numerous capacities.
Jim enjoys spending time with his two daughters, Emily and Ariel. He also enjoys camping and spending time outdoors. As a cancer survivor, Jim understands the suffering that many have experienced. |

Frank E. Downing, Partner, Director of Funeral Service Operations
Frank was raised in Geneva, Indiana in the home of a funeral director. He is a graduate of South Adams High School, Taylor University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Frank joined the staff of Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service in 1990 and in addition to his responsibilities as a funeral director, gives direction to our preneed program. Frank currently serves as manager of the north chapel location.
He and his wife Amy are the parents to two sons, Caleb and Joshua. He enjoys camping, attending his kids sporting events, and spending time with his family. He is an active member of Mount Olive United Methodist Church and is a cancer survivor. His life experiences have equipped him well to serve others in their time of need. |

Wilson L. Hunt, Partner, Funeral Director
Wilson was raised in the funeral home tradition with his grandfather, father, and brother having operated a funeral home in Grant County. He is a graduate of Fairmount High School, attended Ball State University and is a graduate of the Indiana School of Mortuary Science. In 1967 he received his Indiana Funeral Directors License and has been in funeral service nearly his entire life. He joined the staff of Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service in 1999 and manages the Rybolt Chapel in Swayzee.
He is and active member of the Swayzee Christian Church, is a member of the Swayzee Lions Club and other Sims Township activities. Wilson and his wife Patty enjoy traveling and spending time at the lakes with their family. He is the father of two sons, Joel (Lori) Hunt, Chris (Lisa) Hunt and has 7 grandchildren. |

Jason Fafinski, Funeral Director
Jason Fafinski was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He graduated from Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois in 2001. After high school, Jason attended general education classes at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois in September 2004. In December, 2010, Jason relocated to Marion, Indiana from Southeast Chicago to become a member of the Needham-Storey-Wampner team. Jason attends St. Paul Church in Marion, and in his free time, enjoys kayaking, billiards, and spending time with his family and friends. |

Cheryl A. Richards, Family Service Representative
Cheryl is a native of Marion having graduated from Marion High School in 1967. She joined the firm in 1995 and has compassionately served hundreds of families and individuals as they dealt with issues of grief and funeral preparation. Her office is at the Funeral Planning Center in Marion. She is a member of Sunnycrest Baptist Church, sings in the choir and teaches in the Bible Study Fellowship. She enjoys gardening and trying to keep her husband Fred in line. |

Tammy Armstrong, Accounting Specialist
Tammy is a life-long resident of Grant County and a 1977 graduate of Mississinewa High School. She joined the staff of Needham-Storey-Wampner in 2003. She and her husband Jim, are residents of Jonesboro and have one daughter left at home, Alexandra and twin married daughters, Kellie (Eric) Skeens and Kimberley (Chad) Campbell . She enjoys reading, scrap booking, and spending time with her family, including her 4 grandkids, and attends Westview Wesleyan Church. |

Kathy Hinds, Administrative Assistant - North Chapel
Kathy is a 1970 graduate of Huntington North High School and attended Indiana Wesleyan University. She joined the staff of Needham-Storey-Wampner in 2000 and says "working with a group of people who genuinely care about the families they serve has been very rewarding." She is a member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church and sings in the Lakeview Church choir. She is a member of the Indiana and American Quarter Horse Association. She her husband David, enjoy horseback riding and trail riding and loves spending time outdoors. She and Dave are the parents to daughter Kristi (Kelsy) Zumbrun and son Matthew. She loves being involved in the lives of her children and her 2 grandsons. |

Heather Teegarden-Davis, Funeral Director - North Chapel
Heather was raised in Upland, IN and is a 1993 graduate of Eastbrook High School and a 1996 graduate of Vincennes University majoring in mortuary science. Heather received her funeral director license in 1998. She joined Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service in 2004 with eight years prior experience. Heather and her husband Jason were married in 2000. She enjoys fishing, hunting and raising her four beagles. |

John Potter, Business Manager/CPA - North Chapel
John joined Needham Storey Wampner in May of 2007 succeeding long-time business manager Kevin Batman. John is a CPA and a graduate of Ball State University. He and his wife Shari reside in Sweetser and are the parents of Matt and Emily. Matt is attending Indiana Wesleyan University and Emily is a student at Oak Hill H.S. At various times John has been involved in the Presbyterian Church, Habitat for Humanity and the Lion's Club and is looking forward to service opportunities in the community. He enjoys spending time with family, reading, playing guitar, and traveling. |

Della Greentree, Administrative Assistant - Storey Chapel
Della is a 1982 graduate of Oak Hill High School and joined the staff of Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service in August, 2005. She has been married to her husband Joe, for 28 years. They have 2 adult children, Joe Isaac Greentree and Samantha (Mike) Stevens, and 6 grandsons. She enjoys sewing, quilting, scrap booking and traveling to the mountains of Tennessee. Della is the Women's Director and teaches the 3 and 4 year old Sunday School class at Westview Wesleyan Church in Jonesboro where she and her husband are members. |

Lori Lawson - North Chapel Aftercare Representative
Lori Lawson joined the NSW staff in the Spring of 2005 as Administrative Assistant for our family Service and Aftercare Representatives. In September 2008, she accepted the position of Aftercare Representative. Lori graduated from Indiana University in 1997. She and her husband, Tom, are the proud parents of their daughter, Jaycee. Lori enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and being involved in her daughter's activities. She says working at Needham-Storey-Wampner has been a great experience and enjoys the people she works with. |

Linda Cabe - Family Service Representative
Linda Cabe, is a lifetime resident of Grant County and joined the Needham-Storey-Wampner staff in August of 2008 as a Family Service Representative. She serves the communities of Gas City and Swayzee as she visits with families after the loss of a loved one and assists families in making funeral pre-arrangements. Linda also helps make interment arrangements and marker selections at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery.
Previous to working at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Linda served as pastor of Back Creek Friends Church in Fairmount for nine years. She also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Indiana Wesleyan University for eleven years. Linda's favorite aspect of her position is getting to know and care for people.
Linda has been married to her husband, Jim, for 40 years and enjoys planning and cooking family dinners for their three children and five grandchildren |

Connie Trosper
Connie is a graduate of Lancaster Township High School, Huntington County, and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. She joined the staff of Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service in May, 2011. Along with her husband, Robert, she enjoys traveling, camping, gardening and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
