Ground Burial
The permanent memorial or marker can be the most important feature of the burial. This lasting permanent tribute can be personalized with photographs, emblems or engravings. Memorials are made of bronze or granite. Grant Memorial Park offers many choices of memorials in various sizes and designs.
Grant Memorial Park has many options for ground burial. Individual, double depth or multiple family spaces are available in gardens throughout the cemetery.
Most cemeteries, including Grant Memorial Park, require an outer burial container for earth burial. Options include vaults that are made of heavy constructed concrete with an inner liner. This protects the casket from the weight of the earth and equipment and keeps the grave from collapsing. A variety of vaults are offered including those made of polypropylene. Cremains buried in any section within Grant Memorial Park require an outer burial container.
