Eunice Combs, 87, died at 2:50 pm, Sunday in Miller's Merry Manor.
She was born in Sassafras, Ky., to the late Robert and Barbara (Smith) Combs and lived most of her life in Marion. She married Claude Combs. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1981. She was a member of the Grace Freewill Baptist Church, which she dearly loved.
Survivors include her son, Damon (Brenda) Combs, Marion, daughter-in-law, Pam Combs, Marion, grandchildren, Janell (Brian) Sharp, Marion, Vince (Kelly) Combs, Gas City, Dean (Monica) Combs, York, Pa., Randy Combs, Tenn., Ronnie Combs, Mich., Ricky Combs, Fla., Lisa (John) Barley, Marion, Stacy Mart, Marion, and Monica (Jerry) Martin, LaOtta, Ind.; 16 great grandchildren; good friend, Jurlean Cook, Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Barbara Combs; husband, Claude Combs; and sons, Edgile and Delbert Combs.
Services are at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 North Baldwin Avenue, Marion, Ind., with Pastor Charles Sluss officiating. Burial will take place in Gardens of Memory, Huntington.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at the funeral home.
