Slick Davis
April 2014 ~ February 2022
Eight years ago, our family was blessed with the arrival of Slick, a Beagle pup. He was born on a farm in Upland, Indiana, to Shooter and Precious Reece. Slick was adopted at the age of six weeks by his forever parents, Jason and Heather Davis, and he became their little boy. They shared eight years together until he passed away on February 27, 2022.
Slick and his brother, Digger, would go out rabbit hunting together and would chase the rabbits and bring back the prize to the hunter. They were so proud of themselves to bring gifts back home.
Slick was very loving and enjoyed having his belly rubbed and ears scratched endlessly. In his younger years, Slick enjoyed venturing out with his other brother, Zeus, chasing the cats around the house. He gave up this adventure during his retirement years and, during those years, preferred to lay outside, bask in the sun, and watch the cars go by down the road.
He is survived by his parents, Jason and Heather Davis; canine brothers, Zeus and Toby; canine sister, Shiloh; feline brothers, Fluffs and Blondie; and feline sister, Grogu.
He was preceded in death by his father, Shooter; mother, Precious; canine brothers, Digger, Charger, and Booger; and canine sister, Sheba.
